Scholarship Scheme NIMS
The various Scholarship Schemes to different categories of Indian Students are being implemented by the (NIMS) Delhi to encourage them to improve their merit / performance in studies.
The NIMS is fully committed to the highest standard of excellence and transparency in providing the benefits & scholarship to the people belonging to Merit Section/Senior Citizen/Army Person/Handicapped.
The primary focus of the Scholarship Program is to assist students for studies in Professional/Technical courses.
Numbers of schemes are being implemented by Govt. of NCT of Delhi for socio-economic development of residents of Delhi belonging to Merit Section/ Senior Citizen/Army Person/Handicapped.
Scholarship for Weaker Section Students
The objective of the new scheme is to provide financial assistance to meritorious students from low income families to meet a part of their day-to-day expenses while pursuing higher studies.
Scholarship for Merit Section Students
The scholarships will be awarded on the basis of the results of last qualification examination (Min 80% Marks), for will be awarded for graduate/postgraduate studies in colleges and universities and for professional courses, such as Management, Engineering etc.
Scholarship for Handicapped Students
This Scholarship will be awarded to disabilities or handicapped students for pursuing higher professional or technical education.
Scholarship for Army Person
The NIMS is providing scholarship for army person who are highly disciplined, thoroughly motivated and deeply committed to serve the Nation with honour and dignity. This scholarship requires valid military ID card.
Scholarship for Senior Citizen Students
NIMS is fully committed to provide scholarship to the people belonging senior citizen (Min. 50 Years). Only those students who provide age certificate issued by govt. of INDIA are under this scheme.
